A Hero makes a positive change in people’s lives. This special recognition can be someone who works in the health field or it can be someone who touches others with their true character and passion to build a better San Diego.
Many adults and kids look up to celebrities because of their fame, and many have disappointed us. We want to find San Diegans who are not celebrities, who do not seek the spotlight, yet make a great difference in the lives of San Diegans.
Maybe its time to get down to the basics and consider who our true San Diego Health Heros are, people who made a difference in our lives whether its your parents, teacher, friend, co-worker, neighbor, or a group like our firemen and women.
