The author of Making It In Tough Times, Pamela Wagaman has lived a life of multiple adventures and has much to share about living on a budget to meet personal goals. In her book, she describes some of the early challenges that helped shape her down-to-earth approach to money management. Pam held several jobs while working her way toward a B.S. in Medical Technology, and has worked in the clinical laboratory. She spent ten years as a stay-at-home mom to her three daughters and several foster sons and daughters, then returned to university at forty to earn M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. After a mid-life divorce, Pam started a new career as a research scientist for a large pharmaceutical company. She has also served as adjunct faculty, teaching microbiology at two universities. Making It In Tough Times is a first book for Pam, although she has published fourteen professional manuscripts. In her free time, she enjoys practicing T'ai Chi (including weapons forms), working in her garden, walking on the beach, and visiting with her adult children and her grandchildren. Pam makes her home in San Diego.
